CDL/DOT Medical Card Combination Guidance
Federal law requires states to store DOT medical certification status in commercial driver’s license computer systems by January 30, 2014.
One step of the process requires Missouri CDL holders to self-certify with the Missouri Department of Revenue which of four types of CDL best describes the driver’s situation.
DOR is sending notification postcards to all CDL-holders. The postcard includes a specific deadline for certification.
